CURLY SAVES GRANDMA'S HOUSE

Morgan & Kwaymullina & Kw

Curly and the Fent are off to the beach for another adventure!

Description of book

Curly and his naughty friend the Fent are visiting Grandma Rose by the ocean. They soon discover that Mr Smythe will do ANYTHING to get Grandma's house - even if it means tearing up Grandma Rose's garden, having secret meetings with the mayor and sending a shark after Curly and Pook. That's not all. It turns out that Fents have bigger, meaner cousins . . . the Grents. Can Curly avoid the Grent and produce the evidence that will save Grandma's house?

Reviews

Praise for CURLY AND THE FENT:
* 'Quirky, original social realism-come-fantasy novel for young boys and reluctant readers … Throughout the book there are genuine moments of laugh-out-loud humour that boys will love. Sentences are short and easy to manage, perfect for 7 to 9 years olds ... Highly recommended.' BUZZWORDS
* 'Based in reality with a touch of fantasy, Sally and the kids conceived the book to entice reluctant readers and appeal to children, especially boys seven to nine, who have reading difficulties. The team says they worked hard to keep the language accessible for struggling readers while maintaining a rollicking narrative.' KOORI MAIL
* ‘It was great. It was funny, hilarious.’ Natalie Baxter, age 8, Random House Book Buddies Club
* ‘The story was funny. It was the best ever!’ Lucas Dunne, age 7, Random House Book Buddies Club.
