ROHYPNOL by Andrew Hutchinson
Heyne Verlag in Germany has secured German language rights in this edgy debut novel. This follows the option of the film rights by Seed Productions late last year.

DEAD LUCKY by Lincoln Hall
German language rights in this story of defeating death on Mount Everest have been licensed to Frederking and Thaler. Previously, North American rights in Dead Lucky were secured by Penguin who publish in May 2008.

WHY MANNERS MATTER by Lucinda Holdforth
Business Weekly in Taiwan has secured complex Chinese character rights in this thoughtful and intelligent essay on modern notions about manners. In late 2007, Amy Einhorn Books at Penguin Putnam secured North American rights in this delightful title.

DRESS LIKE A STAR by Annebelle van Tongeren
Aurum Press has secured United Kindom and Commonwealth (excl ANZ) rights in this book which reveals the basic principles of dressing to suit your body. Random House Australia published Dress Like a Star in November last year.

RANGER’S APPRENTICE series by John Flanagan
We are thrilled to announce that there have been THREE new rights sales for this international best-selling series! Each of the following publishers has secured rights in the first three titles in the series: Wydawnictwo Jaguar has secured Polish language rights; Wise-I has secured Korean language rights; and Iwasaki Shoten has secured Japanese language rights.
This means the series has now been licensed in eighteen territories including: United States (Penguin/Philomel), United Kingdom (Random House), Spain (Santillina), Portugal (Asa), France (Hachette Jeunesse/Livre de Poche Jeunesse), Germany (Random House), Italy (Mondadori), Brazil (Editora Fundamento), Denmark (Borgens), Sweden (Wahlstroms), Bulgaria (Adelphi), Greece (Patakis), The Netherlands (Gottmer), China (Wenhui Publishing House), Romania (Corint Junior) and Film Option (United Artists).

North American rights in this story of a young warewolf have been licensed to Simon and Schuster, following the sale of Italian language rights to Piemme. These are the first two rights sales for this delightful new title.

Random House Germany has secured the German language rights in this magical new title. Random House Australia publish Three Wishes for teen readers in May this year.
