Narelle Biedermann

After two years’ working in the Townsville General Hospital, Narelle Biedermann was commissioned as an officer in the Australian Regular Army as a member of the Royal Australian Army Nursing Corps, where she served for four years. She then became Lecturer and Director of Research in the School of Nursing Sciences at James Cook University, Townsville.
Her first book Tears on My Pillow: Australian Nurses in Vietnam came out of her PhD studies into the experiences of Australian Army nurses..
