Already focused on 2010.

by Gavin Schwarcz on 17 December 2009

Incredibly we looked at initial print run numbers for books being published in March 2010 today. It is difficult to get your head around the fact that this year is pretty much over and you have to start deciding about things happening well into next year. Still we are fortunate enough to have some great titles coming next year. I just finished reading the new Lee Child, 61 Hours, and think without any doubt it is his best for a number of years. Recently I read a new book coming from Andrew Humphreys called Martin Westley Takes a Walk, also a great read and hopefully will do well.

Just had a conversation with Linsay about Wedding Anniversary’s and whether people actually follow the traditional gift list; for 36 years the gift is Bone China. Seems to me you might want something a little different after 36 years, I guess it’s better than getting paper after 1 year – but not if it’s a book I guess.
