BAFTA Award nominations are in!

Today the nominations for the BAFTA Awards were announced, including some Random House titles. The film Precious, based on the book Push by Sapphire, has recieved 4 nominations - Mo'nique for Supporting Actress; Gabourey Sidibe for Leading Actor; Lee Daniels, Sarah Siegel-Magness and Gary Magness for Best Film; and Geoffrey Fletcher for Adapted Screenplay. Further nominations included Colin Firth for Leading Actor as part of the screen adaptation of the book A Single Man, originally written by Christopher Isherwood. Christian McKay also recieved a Supporting Actor nomination for the screen adaptation of the book, Me and Orson Welles by Robert Kaplow.
