Glenda Guest has been awarded the Commonwealth Writers' Prize for the South East Asia Pacific region for her work SIDDON ROCK, released in February, 2009. The shortlist had also included Tom Keneally's THE PEOPLE'S TRAIN, J. M. Coetzee's SUMMERTIME, and Evie Wyld's AFTER THE FIRE, A STILL SMALL VOICE.
