Pratchett Wins Top U.S. Book Award

It has just been announced that NATION by Terry Pratchett has won one of America’s most prestigious book awards for Children – the Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards for Excellence in Children’s Literature.

We are sure this award is the first of many (currently longlisted in the Guardian Children’s Book Awards). The paperback will be coming in October, and we urge everyone to get their hands on a copy of this book! We think it has huge potential but beyond that it’s a fantastic read that packs philosophy, history and environmental concerns into a great story that is of course hilarious!
