Readings and Psychometry

This article is part of a series. Read the previous article here >

It’s Monday morning already and time for the gym. The last two weeks have been busy and it is time to clear my head to be ready to get back to work to do my readings. On average I would do 5 readings a day, each of these takes one hour and I never know what the reading will entail until I begin. Some days it is breast cancer day while other days can be suicide day, I don’t know why everyone comes with similar problems but they do. It never ceases to amaze me why this phenomenon takes place but there always seem to be a pattern.

My third reading for the day was that of a lovely woman who is an animal lover. When I do a reading I do what is called psychometry, this means that I hold a piece of  the clients jewellery and will be able to see past, present, future or contact a deceased loved one or animal from doing this. I was definitely not expecting a beautiful horse to nuzzle his head into my clients shoulder, but hey, I never know what to expect. My client, began to cry when I told her about her lovely gentle gelding who was showing me that he had problems with his feet. This was definitely a little out of the normal realm of my normal day as horses don’t talk (except for Mr Ed) but I seemed to be able to understand and relay messages to this woman. I felt quite privileged to pass on these messages, when suddenly a little cat appeared behind my client on the lounge.

Well, I am sure you are all reading this blog thinking this woman is a little strange. Being a medium definitely was not my chosen vocation, but I take great delight in passing on messages to the living. Who am I to ask if the spirit is that of a person or a spirit animal. I feel that animals come through strongly as they are loved in life just as much as people and they want their owners to know that they are welcomed into spirit like humans.

At the end of the reading my client gave me a big hug and couldn’t believe that I could see her spirit animals, who she treated like her babies. As she left she told me her beloved cat was put down on the weekend and she hoped that she would forgive her for this as she had suffered a stroke.

Well, today, Tuesday, was also an eventful day. I began my day by going to the gym, I think my visit to P!nk last week inspired me to go even though I had second thoughts. Of my 5 readings today my most eventful was that of a woman who died of bowel cancer in January. This woman was extremely lively even though she was passed. Her dear girlfriend who came to make contact couldn’t stop laughing by what psychic impressions and messages she was giving to me. Even while I am writing this blog, I can smell a distinct perfume in the room that is not something connected to myself or my family. It seems to be that of my new spirit friend. This reading has to be one of the most light hearted and fun readings of the day as she wanted to tell her soul-sister that she was alive and well in the spirit world. By the end of the reading my client assured me that her friend had made contact and that she knew she was with her constantly in life.

At the end of each day, I may be exhausted but I always come home with a smile on my face and satisfaction in my heart that those in spirit make the effort to help me connect them with their loved ones. Words cannot express how this makes me feel. The feeling of awe and the word eternity comes to mind. I am off to bed now to wait and see what tomorrow brings. Every new dawn is always a new adventure.
