Synopsis

It has taken Amanda Crosby almost eighteen months to pull her life together after having been viciously attacked by a youngman she'd befriended. Having recovered from her physical injuries and determined to never again be a victim, the once shy andgentle antiques dealer has become an outspoken advocate for self-defense, has resumed her training in martial arts, and is writinga column for the local paper and lectures in high schools and to women's groups on self-preservation. Her new and hard-wonsense of self-assurance is severely tested when it becomes apparent that she is once again being stalked - and this time the patternperfectly mimics that of her attacker, who is in a prison eighty miles away.
