HORSE TALE

THE SADDLE CLUB STARS IN A WILD WEST SHOW
Stevie has always longed for a horse of her own, and this summer she finally has the chance to get one. When she and the rest of The Saddle club head out West to visit their friend Kate Devine and star in a wild west show, Kate’s dad agrees to sell Stewball, Stevie’s favourite ranch horse. But as the day to bring Stewball back East draws nearer, Stevie begins to have second thoughts. Does a ranch horse really belong at Pine Hollow Stables?

RIDING LESSON

SIBLING RIVALRY
Carole Hanson has always wanted a brother or sister. So she should be delighted when her father tells her that thirteen-year-old Marie Dana will be staying with them for two weeks while Mrs Dana is out of town. But instead of being happy about her “temporary sister”, Carole can barely contain her jealousy. Colonel Hanson is making a big fuss over Marie and Stevie and Lisa are planning a big party for Marie in the hayloft at Pine Hollow. Will Carole manage to put aside her jealousy before Marie’s visit is over? Not until she and Marie share a special moment in the stable at Pine Hollow …
